Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver his 10th consecutive Independence Day address, and this year's speech holds particular significance as it marks his last before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The annual event is eagerly anticipated as it offers a platform for the Prime Minister to present his government's accomplishments, introduce flagship initiatives, and provide insights into the nation's progress under his leadership since 2014.

What Modi said from Red Fort:

• PM Modi on August 15, 2023, hoisted the National Flag at the Red Fort in New Delhi.

• Just like after World War 2 the world changed, the geopolitical order after Corona is also changing. India is growing. And 140 crore citizens of the country are seeing this change.
• Today India is becoming the voice of Global South.
• Global experts saying India will not stop now, all rating agencies lauding country.
• Today there are now if's and but's about India's opportunity. We should grab this change and express confidence and stride ahead
